TrueLocal's mission is to drive online customers to offline businesses.

TrueLocal is a local search engine free to hundreds of thousands of users. It is an Internet business directory with brains because you can full text search on it. Search for your favorite brands like Nike shoes or Nokia phones to find local merchants carrying products and brands you are looking for. At TrueLocal, we strive for More Find. Less Search! After all, we want you to get off of the internet, turn off your computer, get in your car, and go buy something!

TrueLocal has an intuitive design and navigation system which makes looking for dentists, restaurants, car dealers and products and brands simple. While users can search for any type of business, product, or service, popular full text searches include dim sum, cabernet sauvignon, defense lawyer and teeth whitening.

Currently listing over 14.5 million U.S. and Canadian businesses and indexing 50 million local web pages, TrueLocal’s friendly design allows users to find exactly what they’re looking for in two clicks or less. TrueTarget, the local advertising solution, starts at only $1 per month for a business’ category and zip code, and guarantees placement at the top of search results.

TrueLocal’s agency commission program, multiple location business support, and XML partner and data programs are the first of their kind in the search space.
